BX7 - Cleaning and Maintenance

1. Vacuum+Tap+UV mode

After power on, the anti-mite vacuum cleaner starts with Vacuum +Tap +UV mode by default, the corresponding indicator light will be on, and the machine will start vacuuming function, brushroll tapping function, the UV light dust mite-removal function and the negative ion function. (Figure 1)

2. Vacuum+Tap mode

When the machine is in Vacuum+Tap+UV Mode, press mode button once to change to Vacuum+Tap mode. Corresponding indicator will be one and the machine will start vacuuming function, brushroll tapping function and the negative ion function.(Figure 2)

3. Vacuum+UV mode

When the machine is in Vacuum+Tap Mode, press mode button once, press mode button once to change to Vacuum+UV mode.Corresponding indicator will be one and the machine will start vacuuming function, the UV light dust mite-removal function and the negative ion function.(Figure 3)

When machine is in Vacuum+UV mode, press mode button once, the vacuum cleaner goes back to Vacuum+Tap+UV mode. The modes cycles in turn by press mode button.

4. Dust level display

When the cleaned surface is in a clean state, the dust level bar is blue.When it is in a dirty state, the dust level bar is red.When it is in a slightly dirty state, the dust level bar is yellow. As the dust level increases,the dust level bar slowly changes from blue to yellow,nd finally to red.As the dust level decreases, the dust level bar slowly changes from red to yellow until it is all blue.

Brushroll blockage indicator When the brushroll is blocked , the machine will stop and the indicator turns red.(Figure 4)

Note: 1.When the dust over the Max line,please clean the dust cup and MIF filter in time.
2.For safety reasons, the UV light only works within 3cm above object as well as less than 30 inclination degrees. Otherwise, the UV light will automatically turn off.
3.Do not touch the air outlet on the bottom of the machine in case of hand scald.

Cleaning and maintenance

Note: 1.MIF Filters is available for sale at JIMMY distributor.
2.It is recommended to clean the dust cup after each use. when the filter is blocked due to excessive dust accumulation, it needs to be cleaned and replaced if necessary.

Dust cup and filter cleaning

1.Turn off the machine and unplug the power cord. Then press the release button and lift upward.(Figure 5)
2.Hold dust cup lid and rotate to remove cyclone assembly from dust cup for cleaning.（Figure 6）
3.Remove the MIF filter along the direction shown in the figure for better cleaning.（Figure 6）

Note:

1.Do Not miss the filter!
2.Use water or neutral reagents to clean dust cup and wipe with dry cloths. Do not wash the filter until it is necessary. Make sure the filter and dust cup are completely dry before another use.

Brushroll cleaning and installation

1Turn off the machine and unplug the power cord, slide the brushroll cover latch with hand from locked position to unlock position to remove the brushroll to clean up with the mini- brush(Figure 7).After brushroll cleaning, install the brushroll and the brushroll cover into the machine in turn.
2.If the backward brushroll is hard to clean after being entangled by hair, thread and other filaments, take out the backward brushroll and use a blade to cut the hair, thread and other filaments along the backward brushroll for cleaning. (Figure 8)

Note: 

1.For safety reasons, please turn off the machine and unplug power cord before cleaning brushroll.
2.Do not use water to clean the brushroll to avoid water entering the bearings and causing bearing rust..
3.Use a dry cloth to clean the machine. Liquids like gasoline, alcohol, lacquer thinner will cause crack or colour fading and cannot be used.

Maintenance and storage

1.Please clean dust cup and filter after each use for further use. It is recommended to replace a filter after 30-50 hours of working time(depending on specific situation) for better use.
2.Any paper, lead glass, plastic will greatly affect the effect of UV light. Dust or stain on UV light cover will affect the effect of UV light. Please wipe and clean the UV light cover regularly for better use.
3.Do not touch the UV light cover as dirt will affect UV light effect.
4.Put the machine in cool and dry place if the machine is to be idled. Do Not leave it in direct sunlight or humid environment.
